St. Thomas Public School

An ambitious project of a team of Christian Educationists to impart quality education for all  irrespective of cast, creed, religion or financial background, and it is deeply committed to the development of each individual.  The school is co-educational and is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi. From its inception, the school has always targeted student empowerment by exploring and expanding the horizons of knowledge.

This is one of the best ICSE schools in Bangalore and  is a matter of immense pride that St. Thomas Public School has been producing 100% results in the ICSE board from 2000 onwards. It is not a mere 100% passes, but 100% of the students received First classes and Distinctions.

Vision and Mission

Our three-fold focus over the next 5 years is mainly to:

  • Continue to build constructive relationships with all our stake holders, parents, teachers and students, thereby creating a positive school climate which helps and extends to a caring community.
  • Enhance staff competencies through rigorous professional development program’s laying emphasis on teacher training and leadership training.
  • Enhance IT infrastructure and resources which will help to augment the quality of student learning and assessments across scholastic and co-scholastic areas.

Reaching the Unreached

Ever since the inception of the two schools above, the founders of these institutions have gone out of their way to reach the unreached. Their vision has further widened as they laid the foundation for yet another School, St. Thomas school, Melur, a village in Chickaballapur District at the border of Andhra Pradesh, especially to provide a solid value based quality education for the neglected villagers – particularly girls, in the year 2005.

1st Batch (2014-2015) 21 students out of 21 passed with all first class and we achieved 100% pass results with all first class results. 2nd Batch (2015-2016): 18 students appeared for SSLC Examination and we achieved 100% pass with First Class.

Staff – Parent Relationship

We value the close working relationship with parents and there are many opportunities for parents to meet teachers. We look forward for valuable guidance and whole hearted co-operation from the parents in taking our school to better heights. Orientation programmes and regular Parents-Teachers meetings will give parents enough opportunities to interact with teachers, clarify their doubts, give suggestions and express their grievances (if any).

Parents can help us by taking a regular close interest in their child’s work, helping if necessary and encouraging good study habits. We expect parents’ support in maintaining a disciplined environment in the school.
